A farm wedding in Trentham

They told me early that they did not want a wedding that felt like an event. What they wanted was a long lunch that happened to have vows in the middle of it.

There was a rough shape to the day written on the back of an envelope. Ceremony around four, when the light comes over the western fence line. Food when it was ready. Dancing when somebody started it.

Working without a timeline is a gift and a small risk. The gift is that nobody spends the day watching the clock, and it shows in every frame.
